For Health Professionals
For Neurologists and other clinical staff, the MSRACTN can help you in four specific ways:
- Accelerate the completion of feasibility questionnaires
- Learn of clinical trials recruiting patients or requiring sites
- Quickly identify promising trials
- Access to a panel of experts for advice
Step 1. How do I become involved with the MSRACTN?
To become involved, the first step is to become a Member. Send Christine Remediakis an email with your contact details. These will be added to our regular mailing list and you’ll receive our correspondence.
Step 2. How will you help me complete feasibility questionnaires quickly?
MSRACTN has developed an online Feasibility Form that you complete just once. We will then use this data on your behalf to complete any Feasibility Form for a MS clinical trial after it’s been through the Review Process.
You can quickly complete the MSRACTN Feasibility Form online here. Your data is protected in a secure database and kept confidential.
If you have any problems with the online form, an equivalent MS EXCEL document is available here. Once complete email Christine Remediakis.
If you are approached by a CRO or trial sponsor, you might consider directing them to MSRACTN so we can help you complete your feasibility questionnaire.
Step 3. How will I learn of trials requiring sites or recruiting patients?
MSRACTN maintains a mailing of Members interested in staying alert of trials requiring sites or recruiting patients. To become a Member send Christine Remediakis an email with your contact details. These will be added to our regular mailing list and you’ll receive our correspondence.
If you’re interested in learning more about a trial described in an email, just reply to put in contact with the Trial Sponsor. This means that all of the MS clinical community is kept aware of MS clinical trial activity.
If you are approached by a CRO or trial sponsor, you might consider directing them to MSRACTN so we can keep the MS clinical community informed.
Step 4. Who are these experts?
MSRA is pleased that a panel of Neurologists have volunteered to direct and provide advice on MS clinical trials in Australia and NZ. A list of MSRACTN Scientific Review Committee Members is here.
